I am so glad you found your way to this site, through magic or referral or Facebook ads. Or maybe you work at one of the 7 agencies that I love dearly, then chances are you have been bombarded with my efforts trying to get you here. In any case, I am happy, and I hope you enjoy the stay so far.

What is this all about?

This is me putting myself out there, trying to get noticed and get hired. I am fanatic about advertising and just itching to get into the industry. You know the old Catch-22 for people fresh out of college: no job-no experience, no experience-no job. So what else to do but to take matters into my own hands?

With 3 days leading to Valentines' and $50 (and a lot of coffee), I prepared a self-promo campaign: sending a love confession to agencies, enticing them to come to this site. The Flash game on the home page of this site guides potential employers through the 4 possible options: YES, WELL MAYBE, MAYBE NOT, and NO. The only way to actually exit the game (and to be led to the contact form) is to choose the YES option.

So you see, in the spirits of playful Valentine's love confessions and cheesy Japanese anime. But above all, I hope this shows potential employers that not only do I understand marketing principles, I can also devise specific strategies and execute them.

What kind of job are you looking for?

You may not be hiring at the moment, and that's okay. I can go on and on about how much I want to get into Digital Strategy/Planning (ATL and TTL), but here's the deal: I just want to be surrounded by awesome people who inspire and to learn. If you ever need some extra help around the office, I am more than happy to hear from you. Internships, trial projects, preparing briefs and quotes.. ? You certainly need people to do research and data, which I am awesome at.

It's all well and good, but I don't see why we should hire you?

In the packages that I personally delivered to the agencies, I have explained in more details about why I would be a good fit for them. Because of my special interest in these companies, I have done a good amount of research to ensure that our values are the same, and that I could really contribute.

How do you sell yourself as a brand but avoid looking like a wanker? I hope employers can see that I have the smarts, the skills, and the guts. Every aspects of how I approach you (interactive games, rich media content, integrated communication tools, ads and analytics,..) mirror the works of your company. Especially, the human element. Your philosophy is about human truths and storytelling. Well, here is my story.

Also, I work well in small teams. Although this is my initiative, I had the support of some dear friends who helped me with coding, filming, scripting, and mental-breakdown avoidance.

TL,DR: I want to work for you and this is one cheesy way to prove it. Let's talk more over coffee.
