I want this job because I like what RMIT Link Arts does.  

RMIT Link Arts & Culture is about providing free arts based events and activities for RMIT students, offering access to funding and grants for artistic projects, as well as supporting students and members in developing and marketing of their programs. I like that RMIT Link Arts' values and operations put students first and foremost, helping them develop both body and soul.

This is an opportunity for me to put to good use the skills and strengths I already have, and at the same time continually improve. I am confident that I can mix my analytical mind and creative instincts to deliver marketing communications that work.   ​

Prior to coming to Australia in 2009, I was in Vietnam where RMIT held the reputation of the first and fully foreign-owned university, delivering internationally recognised degrees. From 2009 to 2010 I lived in Bundoora and often played badminton down at RMIT Bundoora campus. Currently I live in the CBD and walk past RMIT city campus everyday. I have always had a particular fondness for the university, perhaps not least because of its focus in design and media. The opportunity to work with RMIT staff and students is simply irresistible.   ​

For the most part, I'm done being a student (I have a bachelor and a master degree), this is my time to join the workforce. I need a job. But not just any job, I want a job that is meaningful for me and my career path. I want to be a part of a team that actually delivers, to work on programs and events that actually make an impact.
